Wondering if anyone's heading to LC on sunday. I'm thinking about heading there, but wanted to get input as to the viability of the wind direction. It looks like it's going to be a south wind, and I've only ever been there when it was the opposite. Advice?

Haven't checked the forecast, but if it's solid south (and the tide's right), it works awesome. Just can get rainy and punchy.

There is an outside chance I may be there Sunday as well, High tide isnt until after 4PM but you might try Roads End earlier in the day if you enjoy the surf

I'd get there an hour after the peek of low tide.....Since the winds will be south...
Just my 2-cents...

Jimi,
That sounds like an invitation I cant resist!, kind of like a NO TRESPASSING sign. Is it really "that good" at roads end?
I have checked out roads end on a Northerly flow but never thought the winds were strong enought or consistant enought. I know its a kiting location but I guess I havent hit it at the right time.
Really? its that good on a south wind?
