Thanks, Bams

Is that a 6907? I've got one of those.

Plus, if you ask PDX Monkeyboy, he'll give you a cool icon like the one he made for me

Yup, 19m 6907... I was going to go with the new Octane FLX, but it was just too mushy and did not carry enough energy for the more advanced tricks. Stalling the 6907 still scares the crap out of me, and I force myself to do it at least five times every time I fly at Makapuu. I can do a pretty nice helico now as well, but did not have any clips of them for the video.

I am off to a manauvers clinic in California sometime in April with Brad Gunniscio to work on going a bit more rythmic on the SAT to get ready to do you know what! Figure it will take another year plus of training and flying before we jump into trying some off axis tumbles. Yes, I said we as I only try the new stuff over water on radio with the coach until I get it nailed... This is not kiteboarding and an ACRO flub will get you life in a bodybag.

Kraemer... ACRO over WATER only! Hitting dirt... BAD!

Jeez, what's your launch weight? I usually fly with a Supair Radical and my 6907 is an 18M (flat). My launch weight is ~79Kg (so about 4.4Kg per square meter).

You are flying a full harness and I imagine a reserve.

You must be wing-loaded as hell. Stuff happens quick, eh? Toss much?

Are you flying for Ozone?

Flydunes... I am in the market for a lighter ACRO harness. I need something to sit me up a bit more and give me more precise weight shift control. Looking for a double reserve setup. My take off weight is 110kg. Yup, super super heavy... although the wing has a upper end of 100kg, at least as stated by Ozone.

Wing loading is good, very very good for throwing the more difficult tricks. Yeah, she reacts fast... but then don't most high strung sexy women? Lots of training and practice to keep up with the wing when shit hits, but once your in tune with the speed it all happens by pure instinct in the moment. Only one reserve throw so far, but I am sure there are more in my future. Trick is too keep following the rules... ACRO over WATER only, and no funny stuff under 500ft.

I am not directly involved with Ozone... yet! The guys in Chamonix did give me a good thumbs up on this, but I am going to keep producing these as there is a lot of stuff I can pull that is not in this little vid! Hopefully time will allow me to make a few more contacts. Fingers crossed.

I am on Oahu today, and... ooooohhh, the wind is brisk and straight in at Makapuu. Gotta go!

Bams

Jonah... ha... you got me to say "Puu"! Need any keypad design work done?

Hey Bam Bam! Are you still on Oahu? We just got here last night. It'd be cool to watch you launch at Makapu if that's OK...
