Steady 20 -25 knot winds, sun and about a dozen kiters. (Water temp verified at 38 degrees... ) Best day at RR in a long time. Lots of beach to launch. Most guys went up past the volleyball courts, I launched at the West end of the park by the tripod and rode upwind. 2 minute walk from the truck & plenty of beach. The water level did come up while I was riding & covered the sand, but there was still plenty of beach grass high & dry. Hopefully somebody got some pics... Woo Hoo! Not bad for February! I was on a 4/3...Pretty chilly @ 38degree water... It was alright...Plunty of Sun and Plunty of beach... Maybe this is probably a good sign for '09.... Time to Party.....
