Generally i agree and respect your opinion,...

But not this time, I'm sorry your upset that one of the places you like to go snowkiting has now been "Banned". And maybe if you went to the BKC event you would have a better idea of the type of people they are.

all I'm saying is that this would be a good time to "man-UP" and help support the cause to educate those who make the "laws". As kiting gets more mainstream these type of scenario's can be expected. That is why I see it as important to act as a "steward" for the sport, and for the wilderness. If snowkiting truly belongs in the wilderness, Then it's up to us kiters to make sure people are educated about the sport.

Just my personal view about the situation, peace

no prob,
I only went on ocassion anyway

no doubt the folks are cool never said they wern't
but
the area is gone never the less
and for what?
a bunch of bragging
and see me see me.

you'll never get permission to kite in the National Parks or any wilderness,

the more ,see me,
the more you'll (and I) will lose.

Seems to me the "stoke" and "take over event" mentallity is going to be the demise of the whole sport
not to mention dipshits slammin into walls and posting on the tv
then explaining how many bones they've broke.

But then I'm not trying to make $$$$$$ off this sport.

I didn't go because of the ice,
as I mention 3 yrs. ago when this first came up,
being in the wilderness
might get me a ticket

Sho nuff,

I understand, I mean hey look what X-games did to skateboarding. Now there's 20 or so lil hood-rats swarming to the park and doing things i'll never do.

I just see snowkiting as something that could do some good as a winter recreation. But i know that no matter who's opinion about snowkiting...., it is what it is.
