You can find it on the web,

As for camping make sure you don't leave anything behind.

There are places you can camp on Maui between Hana and Paia, but they are not official.

If you do camp make sure you don't leave anything behind or locked in a car. It will get ripped

Drop in on Dennis at Hawaiian Island Surf and Sport, he can give you the details on camping in Maui.

You might want to rent a van as a group and camp in it, Al West Van rentals usually has some budget vans at a good price.

Tell em Ron sent for a discount,
Ron

Most camping on Maui is pretty crappy...now there is always the banana bungalow...niceish hostel.

There no camping on the north shore as far as I know. Some camping up haleakela. There is camping right on kitebeach, but you'll be sharing with some more permanent campers.

Even of you're under 21, call Al West and beg him out of an older van. They are a kiteboard/windsurf catering auto rental company and don't care about sand, give you beach mats, and a beer cooler with your rental. They have older vans at cheaper rates that are stripped down for our gear or they can put the seats back in. I wouldn't give up on them just because you're under 21. You may need at least a debit or credit card and maybe even offer to pay in advance.

The people you will be talking to on the phone and when you pick up your vehicle are 21ish surfers, windsurfers or kiteboarders so they are diffinately kiter friendly and even have all the cool mags in the lobby while they get your car ready.
