So it seems that tomorrow is going to be sunny and clear with winds in the 8-10 knot range so I would give a shout out to all the sk8kite crew both new and old.

Would be nice to catch some wind without having to deal with any of the following:

wetsuits and dry suits
plane flights to foreign countries
sand in your gear
pumping up your kite while standing knee deep in snow
park rangers on snowmobiles telling you the party is over

So if the wind is blowing tomorrow PM, lets hit the airport. For those of you who haven't tried sk8 kiting, bring a kite and a board. If you don't have those, then bring some beer, there is typically plenty of sk8 gear to go around.

Perhaps we can kite with the famous portland kite skater.. Mr. Jake Chanson

a 2 meter is fine when your on a skate board. Above 10 is better but you will get going plenty fast on a 2meter with solid 10 winds.

well, the weather couldn't be nicer and the winds are supposed to hold in the 10mph range. I've got some work obligations this evening but I'm going to try and make it over for a session. ESE winds are perfect for the airport!!

Sounds fun guys. I need to get out there. Can't do it tonight but maybe this weather will last.
