you need a membership to view it though dont you?
in the Tampa area, the sensors are crap so few pay for the service.
any free sites that you could recommend?
Looking mostly for anything that might have historical data..
I'm heading to Hood River for a couple weeks in early July and wanted to get a feel for what I am to expect.
thanks! _________________ You fill that with Ice Cream and I'll eat it. |

Okay well you asked for the "best" one... not the best free one.
if you are going to be here for two weeks, a months membership to IWindsurf might be worth it... especially if you get the WAP support, so you can get it on your cell phone. Gorge is all about being at the right place at the right time.
Otherwise, check out those other links. We have Forecast, Sensor, and Spot guide resorces available from the top menu as well. |

i am clueless noob, but have scoped a few spots. friendliest launches seem to be HR sandbar, Sauvies Island near Portland, Jones Beach near Astoria and Sunset Beach on the coast North of Seaside. if you know what you are doing, there are MANY more spots. but, even these spots i listed will eat you up if you are not careful.
my advice would be to bring all your neoprene and every kite you have. conditions change fast around here and the water is damn cold right now.
overall, this place is kiting fkn haven! |

not sure why the maps are showing all the sensors...maybe they share login information with iktiesurf.com?? They are part of the same company as ikitesurf.com...membership prices are the same also:
