I just got a bad shipment of Foamacell(bio-degradable pvc) in 6mil thickness in 4x8 sheets......this is double the thickness we have on our benches that we slide(see pic)..so I think it would work well.. I have about #30 sheets that I need to get rid of.. this might be a good test to see if this stuff holds up.... and maybe save some major money..
