Rollo and I tried and were denied - lack of wind - big waves but a bit nar nar breaking over the rocks.
The beach looked super nice if you are wind blessed.
Did watch a surfer paddle for 30 min to get in the perfect postion - drop in completely covered - then detonated - awesome!

sat at conejo years ago in the fall. Epic surf in the mornings, side on from the south blaster every afternoon. No kites back then...sat under a tarp for shade waiting for the morning offshores.. but have wanted to back..goofy and down the line!

My friend caught a wave riding session there on a big kite a couple years ago. It's pretty hard to get wind over there, but not impossible.

Not sure which Todos you are talking about?
Tami and I just got back from Todos Santos near Cabo.
There is a beach there named Cerritos beach and it is good kiting but fickle for wind.
Locals say there are stretches of 2 weeks of NW winds (side on).
Surf was real good.
It's a right point break with hollow shorebreak down the beach.
Looks like we may buy a house there for winter getaways.

Go to La Pastora north of Todos. Take the dirt road north of town till you see a large beach with a few palapas. I stayed in todos for 2 months and scored epic wave kiting by myself about 5 times. It was some of the best kiting I have ever done. It also picks up clean wind and is side off. I hope you score it.

Nice!
Thanks Scriffler.
I've wanted to hit that up for a few years but never have seen wind the FEW times I went (from my place in Los Barriles). Wish I knew of a source of predicting wind over there. What month did you score?

I've done some exploring there with my dad & a jeep. Just south of Todo Santos (10 miles or so) there are dirt roads that lead to the beach. The roads can get a little wicked the closer you get to the beach and we had to ditch the jeep & walk in. We came across several surfing camps. Not real receptive to visiters. Watched the wales cruise by- which was our goal. It was fantastic. The waves however are a different story. I've heard them called "neck breakers" with a vicious undertow. Not to throw negative energy in that direction, but be careful. Also, I really didn't feel safe.
Todo Santos is pretty cool. An artist village with a few really amazing restaurants. The famous "Hotel California" resides there & the bar has amazing margaritas. You can get all the mexican junk you want for "almost free" in the village.

La Pastora can be super-fun! You can also get hammered in the rocks, but its still fun.
I've had wind there several times. Usually you get skunked in La Ventana and head over to surf and end up getting wind on the Pacific side.
