...that decided to call their 1 pump system a "Lazy Pump"??
So let me see if I follow... the idea is to turn product feature names into a way to subtly insult your customers? Hmm, interesting sales strategy. I can see the next marketing meeting..
"Instead of calling them OSRs, let's call them DSRs for Dumb Sh*t Release!"
"Chicken loop is so 2008. Now it's the Chicken-f*cker loop!"
I happen to have tried and liked several North kites a lot, so this isn't about dissing North. So sorry if it offends any Northies, but I'm getting a huge laugh out of the whole idea. |

North has THE stupidest marketing of all the kite companies out there. They have to frikin name EVERYTHING and then they have to go on and act like they invented it.
Don't believe me>? "attack control bridle" "power profile" "fusion rib joint" etc etc etc.

I think what they mean is that they invented the name. If they were really slick, they would design a kite without battens.

When you look back at it, the term 'Chicken Loop" was used to insult all the riders who went from 2 line fixed to 4 line sheetable. It's just industry custom

Not a fan of North whatsoever.
But dude Lazy Pump is a sick name!!
I'm all for the Lazy Pump, tho 1 Pump = ultimate lazy pump for sure!!!

So the manufacturers already have the "easy pump" system - next year they should come out with the "easy lay" system - where your kite folds up and folds out in one swift motion.
It would be the cats meow - everyone would want an easy lay!!!
