considering my first trip down to the gorge for the season this weekend. what do you think of george's forecast for sunday? 18-22 and gusty? is that pretty definite, or could it evaporate if too many clouds come in? saturday looks good.

is the current ripping these days at rufus?

how cold is the water now? 4/3 suites are enough i hope.

HEIN, i want to try your strapless surf chip sometime. my 5-5 is still going strong after a couple ding patch jobs when it was pounded in waves. that board is not slow.

I wouldn't trust any forecast for the gorge that is more than 1 day out, although this weekend is shaping up to be pretty solid.

The current is ripping pretty good at rufus, its one of the few places where you actually work to stay downwind Laughing

4/3 wetsuit should be plenty warm enough, especially if its nice and sunny out.

Anyone else want to tear up some river swells strapless?

Have fun at Rufus and be careful of the Devil. He's in cahouts
with the river god and they love to steal boards during this time
of year.

Weather Serrvice and Unisys are as accurate as it gets. MM5 from UW is accurate for wind at coast and pressures in the gorge.
