ok, one thing that makes the holiday so much fun is getting outdoor gear from loved ones. So in the spirit of America and americans.. Lets hear if you scored any good schwag.
The wife (with lots of help from me) got some baja trip goodies...
-Mystic shortie wetsuit
-oneil guru glide wetsuit top (mostly fireskin) (makes me look like the dark night)
-waterproof Mp3 player

| I thought about it. I crash to much though, I really don't think it would hold up to my riding style.

| Wife gave me a pair of decent board shorts for my birthday. So, I'm sorry to say that the mocking of my orange Hawain shorts will be coming to an end.

My 'returns' are going towards a nikon D-90 for the trip-- same imager as the d300-- with HD video power.
Why would anyone need sweaters and socks?

A new sweater is great because your GF/wife will think and say you look great when you put it on.
The true sign of a wind junky is when the immediate family stops giving 'toys' because they've come to the conclusion that doing so is futile since you will buy anything you think you need on a whim and justify it with some well crafted but sadly lame excuse like 'I'll be able to ride in less wind so I won't have to stay out all day waiting for the wind and that way I'll be home more.'
My wife and I received a very cool & thoughtful gift of an electronic photo album with great photos of our girls growing up. And there were even some rare shots of me kite surfing loaded on it.
Plus I got a new shopvac to clean up debri from the CNC router. I think that's a hint that I need to make some stuff with it and help pay some of the bills. But of course I'm thinking of a new board. What should I build for the spring?

I rode fletcher and stretch"s(surftech) quads
really liked them
6'-6'2"
I find my fish has a lot of nose and is hard to get through larger waves
so also am thinking something with a pointier front.
what I got for X-mas money can't buy
