do you guys have all powder?
if so, I may make the driver over tomorrow to try to find some kiting.
in pdx we got a little rain/sleet and it ruined the powder.
I really want to try mt dalles, even if it means hiking in.
Anyone game?

Plenty of snow. Wind will be the deciding factor. Never filled in today, even though there was plenty at Swell. That is a normal pattern, for the east wind to start past HR and pick up all the way to Troutdale.

Rode late night in town late last night, and there was so much snow- knee deep in the drifts- but that seemed to be the end of the wind and I had to hike out.

At least around here.. and probably at the dalles Mt too, it will be the same thing.. wherever you can find the wind, you'll probably find snow.

Remained cold today, at least in White Salmon and remains quality dry light sugar as of this evening and is snowing again.

I'm so sick of the snow. I've broken every garden tool I have, so I can't move anymore snow off my porch. The windshield in my 4runner has several cracks all the way across it, horizontally.

Ugh.

I wish! I guess the cold and rough driving conditions caused it. I have several rock chips in my window that have been there for years. It started at one of those. I guess I should have gotten them fixed...

We are all going to die. Local TV news said so. They also said crack is bad.

I'm totally with you on this one, Forrest. I'm on staff at the stupid "Winter Storm Command Center" (WSDOT) 12X12 until at least after Christmas. My circadian rhythm is tanked, when I do see my wife all I do is bitch. Mad

Good news, pays for a Liquid Force 6'0'' Surfboard.

Another reason I love this sport.... Just dreaming of the hours and days I will be out on some swell, carries me through the BS.

Merry Christmas, Hope you all get a white stuff kite session soon.

My tailbone took another pounding last night trying to learn nose presses. I got one or two but now I'm at a point where I physically can't enjoy the snow. So, yea, done with this storm, bring on summer!

Hey Lauri, that's stretched out almost as much as the night of the meteor shower!

Lance, great vid - killer powder today. Didn't know Heidi was such a great skier, only know her as a great sommelier.

Merry Christmas!
