wind looks good near trout lake and conboy lake.
Anyone know where people have ridden in Trout Lake?
I would like to do the high priairie or mt dalles, but the wind is looking weak there...

Also does anyone know how to check the snow depth for trout lake? (or anywhere, is there a good resource for that?)
k

Put down your number if you want a rally call in the morning. A few of us should be heading out at 10am. Location depends on the best wind and snow.

Sandbar has worked 3 days in a row and the coverage tomorrow will be the best yet.

However, if there is terrain to ride that will be our first priority.

epic. 303-929-9513(cell)
thanks Airnsails.
i hear ya, I'd like some terrain, too. mt dalles would be epic, but i think the wind will be too weak/non-existent. i'm seeing strongest winds at trout lake...

I logged a solid two hour session yesterday on the east side of the hood river. Nice open area, fully powered on 10m, from 4:00 to 6:30 and it was still blowing when I left. There were a few rocks showing but for the most part plenty of coverage and flat. Last nights 5 more inches should be perfect for today.

I would def. prefer some terrain today give me a call if you guys are headed up to Conboy Lake.

If your plans are driving West to East on 84, you better pack a sleeping bag...Heavy snow moving in the P-town area on Sat + east winds picking up in the Gorge = I wouldn't be surprise if they shut her down.... Rolling Eyes
