Just throw on a pair of large surf shorts and some sort of jersey over the suit and go for it man. I was just out, no gloves, no booties, no hood, 4/3 (newer and a good zipper), no problem...for an hour or two.
You could also try thowing some fleece on over the suit, good to go man. You might find yourself starting a fad, kiters love that stuff. |

O'neill 1.5mm - they have a molded curve not too thick to fatigue your hands
also - the Hotline booties seem bomber _________________ Go Deep!

Thanks Gman! I'll try 'em. I've tried a bunch of different gloves. If they're thin enough to be comfortable, they're cold. If they're warm, miserable to use. |

| I just got a pair of the 1.5 mil oneil gloves and love them so far. Have have really bad tendon problems, from years of kayaking for a living, so thick gloves can realy suck. They are thin but they don't leak very much and thus are alot warmer than you might think. The other thing I have used are the pogies from my kayak paddle. They work great, but are probably not going to be to everyones likeing due to the bulk. |

Promotion makes a top that I put on over my harness. I had them add a slot for my hook. It does have a liner that holds some water and it would be nice if someone made one that is smooth inside and out. It turns your waist harness into an insulating layer right over your core so that really makes a difference. I'll be adding a surfcap if I decide to pursue more cold water riding since your bean is a big source of heat loss.
Folks don't mind answering these kinds of questions each season but a search might uncover even more relevant info. |

| Nak I have a pair 1.5 mm Fluid Seam Weld O'neill Gloves. They are great for Kiteboarding because of the range of motion. You can adjust your harness or power de-power with these gloves on. Got mine at Gorge Performance on sale. |
