That area of Seaside always gets flooded but this was definitely on the high end of what I've seen. My wife works in Cannon and she got stuck there last night... had to have the school bus bring her back home. Looked like the yellow submarine, water coming in the door and all.
I kited most of mid day at the rivermouth. Chocolatey water, sticks and shit everywhere but buttery. My last 3 sessions have been on the skim on a high tide going back out in the rivermouth. Shoulder high standing waves each time like a mini pororoca. Super fun! Sliders on logs too... ( no, that's going too far  ).
