Actually, the McCain campaign pretty much conceded about 11 minutes prior to your post.  They really shouldn't have prior to the West Coast polls closing. They've hurt local candidates and measures because a number of people that might have voted probably didn't.  |

Every election year I am reminded how stupid and ignorant so many people in this country are. Regardless of skin color, there is no way he could have gone through this entire process had he not fit the requirements, established the right relationships, and got the right endorsements.
If anyone knows Jack from the Sandbar, he said it best:
"Obama is just as White as he is Black."
Which is totally true. This is a great time for us, now everyone needs to work hard and get this country out of the ditch we were driven into. |

Good point Forest. Obama said something lat night that I have been thinking about all day...

For whatever reason that was a pretty strong call to action for me, for Americans. That the time for talk is over, and the time for actually DOING something for the greater good of this country is at hand. I haven't figured out what that something is yet, but I believe that being a part of it will mean something when i'm old and grey and look back at this time.

Apparently fans of Fox News, NASCAR, and generic label beer are afraid that Obama will outlaw handguns... Even tho his position is that he's only concerned with assault weapons. NRA members just don't trust people who are obviously violent radical socialist muslims
