Don't use the welder who put that together for the grinch project!
Typically if done right-- the welds should be stronger than the material..

I don't know what the final disposition of the remaining parts will be or if the fabricator will try to repair it or what. But, I asked John to look into donating any useable parts to TheSliderProject LLC rather than paying for disposal. Maybe something useful will come out of this in the end.

Welding always makes stuff weaker... The material is usually going to be stronger than the weld... That's why a lot of the exotic cars use epoxy on the chassis (especially with Al).

TIG!

Hey Tony, we'd love to come check it out and see if we can't build something on top of it!

Hey Tony, sorry to hear about the breakwater, that sucks. If John wants a real breakwater, then tell him we can engineer him one. We typically don't build ours out of plastic though..

If you don't have the money for that kind of breakwater (which the entire city of Stenvenson combined probably doesn't have) we have designed floating concrete breakwaters.

On a side note, we could use some flotation for our kicker if that thing gets scrapped.

Thanks for the followup on that Tony!
The material is the same stuff that they use for a lot of the rails on the snow.
The pieces coming off of it were ~8ft sections of 12" hollow tubing. And they float!

It'll be perfect size for what you've been wanting. Smaller than the HR one for practicing shit and good as a ramp for future obstacles.

yeah, not too big. 40 feet long and 25 feet high. It will have a pocket on the sitde filled with knee braces and a coupons for ACL surgery.

Yea, I'll make sure you get some dough. Smile Actually the barrels you gave us are still in the bushes. How's your knee dude? What is the diagnosis?

The reason I ask is because it has to be a certain size and weight for the 55 gallon drums, otherwise it's going to be unstable.
