I've been there a small handful of time, never been bugged by anyone other that hotties in bikinis...damn hotties,,geez... Lifeguard have there hands full near the pier and mellow out the farther north you go from the pier...surfers thin out, I did see some sort of ray in the shallows, just a heads up...I drag my feet when i surf there so I don't step on one depends on what you're into but the food at the end of the pier is awesome!!
