I have a hallpass to head down to the sandbar this afternoon (Tuesday), so if anyone is interested in trying out either the 2009 LF Havoc or 2009 SS REV kites, I'll have them with me today. This is not a big demo day, just me with some of the new kites available for people to check out if you see me at the beach.

I mainly have the Havocs in 8-14m2 size and the REV 09 in only 11m2 size (other sizes are scheduled to arrive later in the month).

So, if you're interested in either model of kites, look for me at the sandbar. If I'm not on the sandbar, that means I'm out on the water and will be back soon.

Thanks
Pepi

If you have more than one REV, you should rig one in mode 2. Would probably be good for people to try.

Tuesday actually ended up to be pretty good wind conditions from about 3-5pm, then it went into dramatic shut-down mode.
Was a great opportunity to compare the REV and HAVOC kites back to back in solid wind conditions. Definitely some noticeable changes to both kite designs for 2009, especially the HAVOC.

I'll be out of town at the Surf Expo Tradeshow until Sunday, but will leave the kites with Nate while I am gone. Although he'll be stuck manning the shop, he could let the kites go out on the water via one of our shop teamriders.

Otherwise, I have spoken with both Amery (Slingshot) and Tekko(LF) about setting up some kite demos at the Sandbar when we get back from the show. This will be definitely a wind/weather dependent situation, but should be do-able considering the long-term weather outlook.

Thanks
Pepi
