Sensors looked like it was pretty good. Did anybody hit it? How was it?

It turned on about 2pm and lasted till dark. I was on an 11M, but I probably could have worked a 9M. It was pretty gusty and I was getting my ass handed to me later in the day. People with skills looked like they were having fun.

It was really good. Really un-Sauvie like. Solid 12m with big ramps from all the boats cruising through.

crashed hard yesterday eating shit into the aforementioned boat-induced wake, the harness pulled so hard I puked into my mouth Confused

I did get quite a bit of powered raley practice in. I won't claim any legitimacy, but I'm getting there. Speaking of which, what angle should the kite be at? I tried 30 degrees but it doesn't really give me enough vertical pull and it ends up looking something like this:

Dammit. I knew I should have gone kiting, but played drunken kickball instead.

I was there on my (surprise, surprise) 16M Fuel, folks worried about me, and after I asked Flydunes to show me how to pump up my LE, some dude told me I shouldn't fly something so big.

I was a little underpowered probably due to too small of board choice and my 5th being a little short. My short 5th caused low lift as well, but I was still able to complete my 1st backroll, while ending the jump actually standing up and moving!

Great fun until tide came a rollin' in. A little jogging up the beach, halfway remedied that sitchy.

Great folks there too (as always). I got there after work, around 3:30pm, and still had loads of fun.

I'll lengthen the 5th and increase the AOA, or fly my 20M Nitro, before I dare to say the foil is alot more fun to fly. I did notice a lot more drag with the Fuel, but I must say that it had a lot less drag than a foil bowtied and filled with water Embarassed
