Manzo predictions say 20-26 with 8' swell at 10 seconds. Gman said he was out on 7m yesterday out there (thats 9M for the rest of us ).
Sauvie? you might want to check your calender. Do you really want to be disappointed on a saturday....
Models continue to pull the North Pacific High back to the west this AM and increase the pace at which ridging develops inland. This essentially zaps onshore flow and begins to trend things towards offshore by late in the day. At this point it still looks like we'll eek out some westerlies but wind speeds more in the 16-20 range from Stevenson to Hood River. Eastern Gorge sites look pretty light. Coastal sites look strong with the thermal trough just to the south and high pressure offshore.
Western Gorge: West wind builds to 17-21 at Stevenson in the afternoon.
Central Gorge: West wind builds to 17-21 from Swell to Hood River by late morning.
Eastern Gorge: West wind builds to 15-19 Rowena to Doug's late in the day. Lighter wind farther east.
Jones Beach: West wind 16-20 late in the day.
Sauvie Island: North 11-15 in the afternoon.
Coast: North Coast NW 15-19, Manzanita NW 22-26 this afternoon. Central Coast NW 17-21, Florence to Floras Lake NW 22-26. South of Cape Blanco NW 24-28. NW swell 4 feet at 10 seconds. |

I'd love to tag along and pitch in, but have to work.
One of these days I'd like to try the ocean out with you guys. I don't feel easy about venturing out on my own without any real experience in the NW Ocean. _________________ (>====<|> ---< |

| Loose the foil and we would be happy to go to the coast with you. 911 resues tend to make for a long day and I'm not sure your wifes inflatable boat would fair well at the coast; although I would LOVE to see that!! LOL |
