Anyone have a flat bed trailer they wouldn't mind renting for a few days to haul the slider down to Floras Lake?
The slider is 20 feet long, so it would need to be able to accommodate that.

Couldn't you just bolt an axle under it, add a tongue to the front and rig up some lights?
NorthernTool.com has all you need.
I built a portable kicker once but never got it permanently mounted to the trailer:
Still got all the CNC files if you need a winter project.

I have a single place snowmobile trailer. With front and back ramp down it is 12' long. You could strap 4x4's to bed to extend length. Your welcome to use it if you think it will work.

I have a three place snowmobile trailer. The deck should be about 13' long. You are welcome to it. The only prob. is I have my parents in town this week. You would need to come pick it up in hillsboro.

might not be the best idea because the slider is pretty skinny and could easly tip on the windy 101 highway

It's not going to tip over with ~150# of wheels, tires, springs
and an axle on it plus it's connected to the hitch of your car.
If it feels unstable throw in a couple of sand bags.
But whatever... I was just making a suggestion.
Now I'm kind of sorry I wasted my time.
Too many 'experts' around here.

I'm no physics engineer, but I tried hauling some 16 foot 2 x4's in an 8 foot trailer once.
Not a good idea because the overhang can take wieght off the tongue and make it hard for your vehicle to drive.
I about made the darwin awards when my rear end started picking up and swerving out of control.
just consider using the right trailer or leave the slider at home.
I wish I could be there I could bring Wiley's inflatable slider down. It will completely fit inside my van.
Maybe next time.

| Rule of thumb is that 10% of the trailer's total weight should be on the tongue.

| find a full sized pickup with a lumber rack. That should take care of it.
