any of you know about this place? the message board at skypilot is pretty quiet this week and internet searches turn up little about it, but it seems to be blowing a lot while squamish has been iffy.
Thanks! _________________ www.WestRoots.com |

| My understanding is that Sand Heads is a wind sensor on a small island off Richmond, just south of Vancouver. I've heard of guys riding it in the past, though it's my understanding you need a little zodiac or something to get you there. Wind always reads higher at Sand Heads than anywhere in the Lower Mainland. If you have the chance to ride Boundary Bay or the ferry terminal in Tsawassen go for it. They don't blow often, but would've been good today! |

thank you! Tsawassen was the link I just posted for that ferry terminal after hunting around some more...of course the wind is much better way out in the Pacific where I can't get to it! _________________ www.WestRoots.com |
