Sat Aug 16, 08 10:35 am Suggestions for board size for a lightweight |
|
|
I was wondering if there were any smaller riders out there that could give me a suggestion on a good board size for a beginner/intermediate 120 pound rider. I was thinking 130ish???
She would just like to have one board - so it would need to be a size that would be a good in most all conditions. _________________ Still rockin gojos, *ssless chaps, and ankle weights! |

I'm ~127lbs and I love my North Jaime. I ride the medium (131 cm) and have never found it to be too big (though thye do make a 128 as well). It goes upwind really well and has good pop without being hard on the knees. Definitely a great all-around board and something she won't "grow out of" as she progresses.
North also makes a women's board, the paris, that's a little softer. |

Thanks for the suggestions - Monkey boy and CHooch - I followed up on those links. That pink board looks sweet Sometimes we switch boards - So I can't wait to strap my go jo on that and take it for a spin!!! _________________ Still rockin gojos, *ssless chaps, and ankle weights! |

Not trying to pimp but I have an 07 126 Misfit I'd let go for cheap, I've progressed immensely on it, I can only imagine what it would do for someone the right size... _________________ Let's go kite. |
