looking for a little affirmation as ikite and airnet aren't playing nice on the forecast-ie thing today.

ikite is pretty "lazy" in forecasting SI (and anything out of the Gorge) in my opinion. I try to look over all the forecasts and then flip a coin, let it bounce of my belly and see what the gut thinks… Wink

NOAA is usually my first stop. Airnet is pretty good though..

never trust IKite with SI...

noaa seems to agree with airnet

This Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. North northwest wind 6 to 10 mph becoming west southwest.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. West southwest wind between 7 and 10 mph becoming calm.

Unless the sensors are showing SW at 4pm, I'll be there to help! I've actually noticed iKite fcsts being more accurate than airnet recently. And the iKite human fcst for today for SI is saying NW12-16.

One thing I know to be 100% dependable based on years of experience is "If you don't go, you won't know" Smile

I agree, you guys may have a good time drinking beer but your not going to have a good time kiteboarding. Its been said before but it should be said again, airnet has THE most accurate SI forecast. I kite suck does not. they always say 10-14.
You might want to look at he tides as well....

Tides look good till about 7:40pm. Pressure gradients look good.

The only thing that has me concerned was the Southerly upper level wind flow that I could see out my window earlier. What's up high usually comes down to our level within a day or two.

Its still NW at my house and it feels right. I'm gonna check the actuals at 4pm and then make my call.

So, it turned out to be OK for a 15M Rev, sometimes 13M, but nothing to write home about.
