I have buddies driving down there to surf right now.

Typical-- most people are bailing, our kind start flocking.

Just talked to a friend on SPI.
Blowing like crazy, hes guessing 80+.
He still has power and the roads have not flooded yet.
They are not letting anyone cross the bridge, so he and his wife are riding it out.
One guy was kiting yesterday on the gulf - big surf.

Hey everyone....It is still blowing like crazy and lots of water.....The girl just doesnt want to move inland...I heard a roof blew off a hotel and I have lost alot of roof tiles. Lost power and phone a couple of hours ago. It just will not leave. Kepp us in your thoughts and prayers. peace out. Jim

What does a 1m Rev go for these days? Or would I be over powered?

I think the 1m's range is 60-80 and I heard there were gusts to 100 at times. Might wanna go with a 0.5m for that 70-100 spread. Would be sick for kitelooping Smile
