Great kite. had an 8m and 11m last year. how much do you weigh though? and where you gonna be riding most? I personally like the 11m better for an all aroudn size. and esp for boosting. PM me and I can give you more input.

You should at least check with the guys at Gorge Performance.

I bet Bob will make you a good deal... maybe even match your web price, if you decide to keep it local.

yeah, definitely go and make Bob an offer! He will treat you right.

And if you want, demo some Vsonics which have basically the same feel, just a bit more lofty on jumps b/c of the new design. PM me if you want to demo some kites.

Todd.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll check in with Gorge performance. Would love to buy a 2008 Kite, but still a little too spendy for me & I need a smaller kite asap for those windy days. Right now, I only have an 11m Waroo (price matters) and a bunch of bigger kites from when I lived in Guam.

I was at Gorge Performance last week for the anniversary party...

Seems like they have some un advertised specials on many of the 08 kites.. including the GK and Liquid Force Havoc 8m... Good deals too good to be allowed to print.. so head on it and check them out!!

This is probably the best time to buy new gear for the next couple years!! as prices are going up %20 in 09 due to oil's effect on the industry.

Right now.. there are some deals on '08 kites. as Soon as the '09's come out.. prices will go back to normal.. as the normal 08 prices will still be cheaper than the '09's so there will be much less of a closeout end of the year than in past years.
