Fri Jul 18, 2008 7:35 am Big Props To Janet For All Of Her Work!!! |
|
|
As a last minute volunteer yesterday at the Gorge Games, I have to hand Janet a lot of praise for her handling and organization of all of the volunteers. Janet worked her butt off yesterday, foregoing her chance to watch the comp, so that we volunteers had everything we needed to both do our jobs and enjoy our day.
Thank You Janet for a job well done!!! |

Not only did Janet totally kick ass, but she did it in a really chill and easy going way. 24/7 smile. Not an easy thing to do...I think everyone was pretty stoked!
Three thumbs up from thisss guy! _________________ Damn, that guy knows how to party! |

I was helping out all day(since 7:20ish am) and I must say Janet had a smile on her face all day as she was running around taking care of the many things that needed to be done! It's hard to organize events/volunteers, but it is extremely hard to keep your cool and not "freak out" when problems arise. Thanx for your time and effort in making a great event for everyone to enjoy!! I'll help you out anytime!! |

Totally agree.......Janet was running hard and made it fun because when you needed something or had a question....she was the "go to person".
All the Volunteers were kiters and worked their tail off all day...Nak, Kodiak, BettyB etc...etc...etc. THANK YOU for keeping it real. |

| I have to agree that Janet and all the volunteers did an awesome job yesterday and from a riders point of view the event was extremely well organized and an amazing team effort. Huge thanks to everyone who was involved in it. Looking forward to the big air. |

| She deserves more kudos than I could ever express. Janet is an event directors dream come true. Eternal thanks to Janet, and all of the kiteboard volunteers that made Thursday a day to remember. Can't wait for Saturday.... |

WOW, thanks so much everyone for such kind words. Honestly, the event could not have been so successful without all of the amazing volunteers on Thursday and of course Ty (Dave Tyberski)! I hope all the volunteers received the e-mail I sent to them, with my sincere gratitude! I was extremely tired when I wrote it last night, but I hope they all know how greatful I was, lots of hardwork!
Here's to looking forward to some great wind, and an amazing Kiteboarding event! |
