If you have not already volunteered, please help us out! I am in need of people to work the 4-8 shifts everyday, and a couple mid-day shifts. We have a couple people doing triple shifts.

You get FREE Volunteer Parking and FREE Camping and a rocking BBQ! Other things as well, but really we should all be volunteering out of the goodness of our hearts;-)

Thanks all and please step-up even if for 4 hours shifts! Stringy is putting his kids to work everyday. LOL!

Just wanted to say that Janet is pretty busy today, trying to get last minute organization for the volunteers, getting food, and getting through a ton of her messages from lots of folks today. She might be a bit slow getting back to you. Oh and she gets to pick up her mother-in-law at the airport tomorrow on her way to the games. I am sure that doesn't add any stress Smile

Hoodrat if you can still volunteer you can try and give Janet a call 5038099338. She is on her way to hood now and busy with last minute stuff.

If you have not already checked out the 'actual' cost of tickets for the Gorge Games, which is $35/person+$5 ticket fee+$3.25 processing fee=$43.25 for a weekend pass, you may want to make sure that you get in touch with Janet and get your butt on the volunteer list asap while she still has the opportunity.

From what I have been hearing, the Kiteboard events have been the most successfully organized events of the Gorge Games in regards to event organization and volunteer commitments. Even if you are not in favor of the high event costs, you do have an opportunity to witness the event via being an event volunteer , so give Janet a call or email.
