After a month of hiding, the spit is back. As I drove over the bridge this morning I could see half of it anyway. Let's see if it stays.

The Army Corps lowered the water for the Cabrinha demo. Big thanks to them!

I heard that yesterday, that's super legit! Are they doing the same thing next weekend also?

The Corps did not lower the river for the Cabrinha demo day, sorry. They are getting back into their normal drain it down more during the weekend routine. They are scheduling a "soft request" to BPA to lower the river for this weekend, for our cleanup and demo day. Lets hope the moons get in the right alignment and we get a big sandbar for the weekend activities! Laughing
