I think spike posted some kiters captured by google a while back. Here's some more at Leo Carillo state park in CA. One's actually riding a wave it looks like. I'm going to SCI-Arc for a masters in architecture in Fall '09, and was looking at the kiting in LA county. I lived in orange co. for awhile, and never really went too far north. Anyone from here kited there?

Ryan, who did the new SS vids, kites there a lot and told me it can be pretty good. My buddy JP that lives down there now, grabbed his kite gear when he was visiting here a few weeks back, so hopefully he'll check it out soon. Probably gonna go visit him for a couple weeks this summer, so I wanna check out Leo Carrillo and Cabrillo to the south.

haha thats sick!!! but i looked up that same place on google earth and there were no kiters there. they must have up dated the picture

Here's fun, the google maps streetview function goes all the way out to sauvie, if you look out there the sky is full of kites, must have been a good day!
