We kited so much powder yesterday that I began to question myself...am I a glutton? An addict? How much snowkiting is too much? Should I try to show restraint...flex my moral fiber? Or should I say screw it all and jump off another cornice? I'll just do it until I need glasses!

There's NEVER enough when it comes to kiting... Haven't had the greatest conditions (super-gusty on Hood the few times we've been up, and Bachelor was dead) for snowkiting around here lately, so for now I'm just waiting for the warm water to return!!! It's not an impossible drive from Hood river to here...about 9-10 hours I think...come out and help me track up these powder fields! The Snowkite Rodeo is in about 1.5 weeks. Chasta, Reme Meum Bjorn Kaupang, and other Euro kiters will be showing us how it is done as well as Slingshot and Ozone's hard hitters will be there. Should be in the neighborhood of 80-90 kiters on Georgetown Lake. Not to mention the Hot Cowgirl contest saturday night at the lodge and live music friday and saturday night!

You can tease us with titillating tidbits teaming with temptation tendency, or wow us with pics of wonderful whimsical white whereabouts willfully whipped by wild wind wanderers. _________________ My kite not pink it's magenta damit! |
