Well since we are going off topic..... Here are some fun pictures of me racing a snowmobile down a 1 mile lake.
I was also riding my wakeboard behind a buddies snowmobile down the same lake for half time entertainment.

That's bad ass! I've seen it before, but never really thought about it. How slow can you go across water before the snowmobile starts to sink?

Not really sure in MPH. Its more a function of keeping the track spinning. I can start off from shore and with about 5 feet of beach be going fast enough to go out on the lake and go for miles. Once you start to porpoise you are done dealing. The trick is to lean forward. Oh and to turn the ski's opposite of the way you want to go. You lean in and use the ski as a turning post.

In that first picture I am going 62mph. Clocked on radar. The second probably 25.

If you know how to ski/snowboard and you know how to kite it is super easy.

I don't have a sled, but I think that you can rent them near helens. Do yo know the skinny on some open spaces on Helens? I know it's out there.

Yes I know St Helens very well. I have sledded all over the mountain. There are several good wide open spots that I have seen wind in.
