i used to play that a lot. I heard it is expected to gross 350 million during week 1...
they are advertiising on the NYTimes, which says something about the demographics of their players.

I tried it a tiny bit at my friend's house and it looks SICK! It's a Russian dude this time so you know it's gonna be good Wink

. They even play legit Russian music in the car. Hoping to play some more soon.

Graphics are no where near as good as CD4. However there is something very satisfying about seeing a pedestrian go flying up and over your windshield Laughing

The GTA series have always been my favorite console games. I even used to play the old overhead style back in the day on PC.

The last two in the series have really taken it so far where you have huge immersive enviornments. The graphics aren't really ever amazing, instead what's really cool is being able to do anything, go anywhere, jump out of buildings, jack tanks, etc.. Games like COD or Halo have you walking down pre-defined cooridors, small areas really, not entire cities.

Plus you can do whatever you want

Seriously you haven't known fun until you've broken into a military compound, blasted everybody, hotwired an Apache helicopter, and then fired off some missles setting off a chain reaction blowing up 30+ police cars stuck on a bridge, all while working the radio trying to find the best song to go along with the action.

Or even just cruising around the streets on a crotch rocket jamming to tunes and enjoying the (virtual) scenery. The last game was so massive it'd take 45 minutes at top speed on the freeway just to make a circle around the whole map. There is a certain "freeing" feeling to the game that no other game has, it just feels wide open.

I don't even have an Xbox 360, but luckily my fiance knows me well and has already got one on order for an early birthday present! Very Happy

So lets all figure out the whole multi-player and we can rob a bank together. Twisted Evil

i need a 360 bad to play the new gta... Those who have it are the guns sick or what-- did they give us some new ones to use? trying to beat vice city right now but i played san andreas first and it is hard to go back in time Sad

gta 4 sounds cool can't wait. The reggae stations are always pretty good on the game hope the russians like it!!

The guns are good. You can also "call up" a helicopter with side pod machine guns.
lots of music to choose from. Some of the russian music is really good. Its very easy to loose a couple of hours driving around raising hell.
