here are some pictures from earlier today at jones beach. it was great. the wind was around 18. the current seemed alot stronger then the last time i was riding there. unfortunatly the image quality is very bad because i had to use the digital zoom on my camera

The shame...I gave up looking at 3:00 as the reading were funky and the cloud cover started to look like lightening. Embarassed

Hats off to those who had the balls to take a chance on a skunk. At least some people got some this weekend and I'm talking about wind.

At least I got a nice sunny afternoon in the yard taking care of my spring jungle.

Was the current going with the wind or was it opposing? Thx for the pic's.

The current was ripping, made it a real struggle to get downwind at times. The downside of the current though was the chop was super brutal, but there are a few spots you can find that were flat.

Saw a giant sea lion, jumped up after my kite like he was going to eat it, must have thought it was a big red salmon. Scared the shit out of me! Shocked

Shit that's crazy! Where did that happen? The sea lion I saw didn't look like the friendly Sea World type. Shocked

Yeah the lightning didn't get close for awhile, but we didn't last long after you guys took off.
