Sauvies is hard to f'cast. It might go - or it might be flat as the US dollar.

Who's got a good coastal forecast?

Forecasts are calling for the wind to start dropping rapidly at about 2:00... But who knows. I'll stay till the wind gods shut off the fans! Very Happy

As long as the wind stays decent. Windbow looks like we're going to lose the gradient fast and I don't really feel like swimming. Even with my drysuit, I was still a bit chilly yesterday at HR everytime I dunked.

4/3 shorty tomorrow? Perhaps! Laughing

Adam, YOU were chilly??? Jesus, you were in a shorty when I was in a drysuit last fall... Maybe it's too cold for me? Very Happy I'll be there early. It couldn't be windy in the afternoon when it's going to be 76...

Trigger, Maybe it would be a good idea if you just came out and watched? It really helps you learn a new spot when you're a beginner. Nobody minds a beginner, this forum is a great place to learn the ropes around here. That said, if you're not absolutely certain you know how to rig up your gear, you're not ready to be out there solo. Knowledge of your gear is the building blocks that the rest of the sport is built on. If you don't know your gear, you could make a potentially fatal mistake. Seriously. Come on out, watch people set up, ask questions. We'll be glad to see you!

I'll be there around 9:15 - I'm getting my stuff together. I could use some back up if I have to battle the VS jungle.
