Alert, yesterday was a skunker. Will today produce? AN AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THURSDAY. A STRONG HIGH PRESSURE RIDGE WILL CONTINUE OVER THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST THROUGH THURSDAY. THIS WEATHER PATTERN WILL RESULT IN LIGHT WINDS AND LITTLE MIXING OF THE AIR CAUSING POLLUTANTS TO BECOME TRAPPED NEAR THE SURFACE. BRIEF RELIEF FROM THESE CONDITIONS IS EXPECTED THURSDAY AND FRIDAY AS EASTERLY WINDS INCREASE.
