I'm always being asked, what's THAT you listening to---
I've got an H20audio housing for my pod available at H20audio.com
They're about $159. It works great and doesn't leak even after a slammin' take down. They are about to release one for the new shuffle--Really small.
Here's one of my favorite playlists for tuning out:

How does the membrane work? I've been eying one for my 2nd gen nano, but i am worried about the membrane....maybe just go with the other one?
Anyone know the major difference..I guess except for the membrane vs buttons?

its a pressure seal around the outside and has a built in input for the waterproof headphones.. the soft face is a rubber circular pad that looks to be glued in there .. pretty nifty.
wish the seal clip had a locking mechanism tho.. thats always my big concern.. i am thinking a putting a ziptie around it to reduce my paranoia.

thanks for the playlist Kraemer - would like to see more lists posted as I'm still listening to Bob Marley, Pearl Jam and a bunch of old 80's tunes, and guessing 'no woman, no cry' isn't going to cut it on the water unless I'm on a long board and a 20M kite, but maybe the Chili's would be perfect?!
...and just ordered a waterproofed shuffle (no outside case needed) from swimman.com and found the H2O earphones on ebay so am all set! It's just a little strange fitting these mushrooms thingies into your ear canal, so now it's time to figure out all this itunes business and get with the times.

The swimman product is very cool! If you didn't like the headphones for it you could try mine (H20 audio's). They work pretty well once wet. Dry they sound like crap. I think they're $79. I definately like the swimman product. smaller is better.

Im geting one too! Now I wont have to listen to guys on the water... You thought I was rude before! hahaha
FYI I bought a 30g video Ipod and otter box for baja last winter...
2nd sesh- I wiped out and my harness popped open the hatch destoying my groove...
you maybe better with the cheaper/smaller shuffle, duct tape backup protection, or paying extra for the h20 case
