Love seeing all the gals on the water this weekend!!! Yeah! And what a successful women's Intermediate Clinic on Saturday! We were lucky to escape the busy weekend sandbar to a "secret" undisclosed location somewhere in the Gorge. We had breaking waves and a breakthrough day for three of the seven gals who signed up. For the full story, check out the news piece on WomensKiteboarding.com.

Next clinic is the Women's Weekend at Jetty Island August 11-12, with more details TBA as we get them nailed down. If any gals want more info on this event, please PM me or contact through the wka website here.

In the meantime, check out the pics from Saturday.... and thanks Tom and Jim for boat support!!

Even though I'm new to this sport, one thing I gotta say is that just about every chica I see out on the water straight RIPS. It's a nice change from snowboarding and the whole "snowbunny" culture where they're just out there to look cute. I've always said there's no reason girls can't ride as hard as boys, and I'm stoked that holds true in this sport.

Thanks for a great clinic on Saturday Tonia... so much fun... let's do it every weekend! Definitely a success for WKA. So sorry I had to leave a bit early. Looks like the rest of the day was a blast.

Thanks to Rollo for the boat support, Kodiak for the jet ski support (and the ride back to the Rowena boat ramp)... And what about that tag-team "rock star" combined boat/jet ski rescue they did in front of the barge! very impressive!

thanks again!

Being a "snowbunny" doesn't take any commitment. Kiteboarding takes commitment! Send it!
