I have made two attempts at trying to repair a leak in my leading edge bladder, and I think this last time I sprung a new leak. I am leaving for vacation on Friday afternoon and was planning on taking the kite that has the leak, and if I can't get this repair taken care of it will really put a damper on my vacation plans.
I am wondering if there is anyone out there (in the Portland area) who is pretty experienced with bladder repairs who would be willing to earn some good karma and some cold hard cash by fixing my bladder for me by Friday and saving my vacation. I could drop the kite off Thursday and pick it up on Friday. I am all out of patch material, but would be happy to provide string and powder.

man, all i can say is that kite repair is part of the dues ya gotta pay. spend some jack and pick up TWO new le bladders, one for your current problem and one for the leak that is bound to happen when you travel.
there is a law that says that leaks occur in direct proportion to the distance you are away from a kite shop. you want to be standing on a drop dead gorgeous beach with perfect wind and a droopy le?
and check out your le for a lodged stone or pos that causes a new hole when you pump up. learned this the hard way with bicycle tubes. she!t lodges in the dacron and then with a new bladder, wham: new hole.

Just to clarify.... she is in the medical field. She does NOT have bladder problems
