It looks like it might blow decent up at Wickiup if anyone is interested in checking it out. Let me know ASAP. If anyone has a boat, that would be even better. I would like to leave earlier than later to give enough time to catch any wind that might make an appearance. Does anyone know the best place to park and launch?

Wickup Reservoir is 12 miles west of La Pine.
Not so good this week. Sad

I sent you a pm. I think Wednesday looks the best with a NW 10 - 20 with gusts to 30 in Bend, so Wickiup should be good.

Long lost timmy. How are those 7 hr round trips to rufus treating you? "Sunny central Orygun" being good to you? More tail, less sail; life is all about compromise. Go to East lake. . .Please report results.

Central Oregon was a great change for me! Yes, more tail less sail but the job, girl, skiing and mountain biking are keeping me busy. All the lakes around here are way too gusty and Whickiup is the best bet except for Haystack on a true west day.
2.5 hours to Rufus is not bad at all.
Thanks for asking- see ya at Rufus.
