Yeah - Ruben throws down some crazy stuff. But - I've been drinkin' alot of beer, so I've been packing on the #'s - and I've contemplated using ankle weights while riding Very Happy - so that has to count for something when considering load testing. Wink I guess I was just unlucky breaking 2 harnesses - it doesn't seem to happen often.

What about Mystic's new harness? It's more expensive than the Warrior. I'm probably just going to go with the '07 Warrior though.

Jason said that he's got a 31" waist and has a medium. My old '02 Dakine Tabu is a small (my waist is 30-32), and still fits, but I was scared to go with a medium originally because JP's '02 Tabu in a medium is too big. Ordered my '07 Warrior a little bit ago, and did so in a medium, so hopefully we're good. At least it'll work better for snowkiting! I can barely squeeze that small on over my jacket... Rolling Eyes

That's exactly what my non-kiteboarding room mate said when describing what came in the box (the Firestarter harness).

Embarassed Embarassed I have to admit...I did wear kitepants the first year I learned to kite and I knew they were not cool anymore. But it was a time when kite-shorts were not cool yet either and it was the only thing I could think to wear to keep me from feeling so naked in neoprene! Shocked I think they should make a comeback! Laughing Ultra Nectar Question Come on! I know you still make them. Wink I wear board-shorts now over my suit but still think they look pretty corny in winter with a long suit.

ps. I know my avatar is an old pic. Time to change it. Laughing
