low 60's right now and dropping. Still pleasant if the air temp cooperates. Definitely time to break out the full suit.

This is a good water temp chart, not bad for fish 411 too... https://www.fpc.org/WebForm2013/NETtempgraph.aspx
Been waiting for the EAST winds to show up... let's hope it all comes together soon.
Those cold dense winds leave a long tailed stoke to get us thru the holidays...

Yeah, the 60 degree water is no problem, but the 45 degree air temp forecast is not ideal.

Here's the site I use.

Looks like the high in Corbett is somewhere between 45 and 48 today which is doable in a good suit. Another option I was considering is The Ponds at Fort Stevens. Air is 53 there today and it looks like easterlies have filled in. The sensors are pretty bad but whenever the bridge reads anything over 15 east then it's usually been good when I've gone out there. I'll probably go for Rooster today, though.

How does Fort Stevens look for tomorrow? Air temp is colder than Saturday but the wind looks still good from the east.

I'd think it would be better at Fort Stevens tomorrow than today. Rooster might be nuked out tomorrow which is typically a good sign for the ponds. I'm trying to find some info on access to lot D. There's a large construction project on the south jetty and it's possible that access to lots C and D are restricted since that's where the majority of the work is taking place.

As of 2 months ago you could still access it despite the construction. Unless things have changed you ought to be good.

Just called the park office, lots C and D are open and accessible. If you have an RV you will have trouble turning around due the construction.
