Im thinking im gonna pick up a 13mtr Fuel from 06,I weigh 135 to 140lbs
Does this kite have decent low end,i heard some people say the 15 doesnt have too much. But im light and im hoping the 13 can be my big kite.I had a 14 nitro before and it was a bit of a dog.Willing to ride a surfboard at the lowend too,
thought this would be a good place to ask cause it seems everyone on west coast owns a dog and a fuel Twisted Evil

I would recommend getting a 15m as your big kite if you want to kite alot this season in the Portland area or coast. You could probably get away with the 13m in the gorge.

A couple years back when I weighed exactly what you weigh, I bought an '05 Fuel 11 and it's been my big kite ever since. Now I'm ~145, and I was thinking about going with a 13m, especially after riding Tucker's '06. I swear that thing turns faster than my 11 in low wind conditions. Still probably couldn't go much lower than ~12mph, even with my board that does halfway decent riding underpowered...

Ok thanks for the info.
I think ill try the 13 as biggest kite cause i really hate bigger kites.
I think with the surfboard i have and i may get a skim, that ill be ok.
Im not worried about sub 12mph riding

13m and the skim - you will kill it. At 12mph you will switch to your small board.

Yeah i think ill be ok..More fun to ride surfboard or skim in lightwinds anyways.I never get along well with big kites, hate flyin em,hate pumpin em.From what I hear the kite turns pretty fast and is less grunty than the 05.
