Had to get some chores done and get a hallpass, but I made it out with one of my shop guys to the Sandbar by around 3pm, just in time to see the dwindling winds and hear about how epic it was up at Wells Island.

Played the sit and wait game for about 20 minutes, and then got lucky as the wind gods provided us with about 2 hours of solid (but as usual, gusty) winds.

Was stoked to see a few people stick it out with us. I even yelled a super-gay 'woo hoo' to someone.
It's good to be back on the water.

Was that Gman that jibbed over me on the shoreline?

Sorry guys, really should'nt, but gonna anyways!

Tough day today testing the new puffy kite on Maui. Just know that it is a six meter, so you do the math on the wind...

Hope all is well on the mainland, Bammer

Felt like 2002 on that cafeteria tray.

You were so stoic waiting there thought you were a tree? Really sorry, was skimming in the stump filled pond, no problem, but manage to tag the only man standing on the sandbar - sorry again. Embarassed

Bammer that kite looks photoshopped in Laughing

Figured that was you. No worries, I was just glad that I ducked and you were able to bounce over me.

Looks like this weekend will be bringing us some more winds to hit the sandbar with, maybe even a little too much wind.

Where are you getting this?? If it is strong enough, do you think it'll bring out the windsurfers in numbers to represent at the event site? Or will we just continue to rule it on our 6's and 7's??

Ha!

Bam -

It looks like you doctored up that pic to mask the proto. Wink Either that or the new 08's are bed sheets with no struts. Shocked hmmmmmmmm....that just might cut down on the drag though Question Idea

Sucks I couldn't stay longer in Maui! The winds have really been kick'n there since we left! Mad

Hey T - now your just trying to get me in trouble, aren't you.

BTW - We parked at a very empty Sandbar parking lot the other day and the walk felt pretty short.
