Sailed the coast yesterday, i got snow on the windshield both coming and going over the coast range, but got mostly sunny skies while on the water and beach. Very Happy It was a difficult call to go to the coast or HR. Looked like both were fire'in.

Did anyone sail at the spit yesterday and what was it like?

Second, check the wind sensor records, it appears SI was going! Anyone try SI?

Was thinking about SI yesterday - saw the 405 flags pegged as I left work but looked like a little too much west

Yesterday caught my first session of the year at the sandspit. It was high quality wind near the rr bridge for a couple of hours. A hooded-vest, booties, and gloves made all the difference. I had no problem staying warm, even though my 3/4 wetsuit has holes near the armpits. The wind dropped-off at 5:30 p.m. Good stuff.

Parking at the Event site and walking to the sandspit is delux! Haven't accessed kiting from-there since 2000. Good stuff. It was nice to be among so many super-charged, stoked individuals. Most of us came off the water with a huge post sess buzz.
