I know there are other S4 victims, er, owners here... Jim K you mentioned some trustworthy mechanics in Bingen; Gillco maybe? I need an oil change and some minor maintenance but don't want to drive to Portland just to bend over. Any local recommendations (backed by positive experience)?

While I don’t think they do Audi work, Jim at Greentree auto in Hood River or Andy at Shadetree in White Salmon should be a great source for a recommendation. Experienced honest mechanics.

I saw a pimpin' blue Audi at the beach awhile ago with custom plates that said "INFLICTOR"...

Stopped for fuel with my TDI Touareg last summer. Saw an A8 sans front end/motor.
Struck up a convo with the owner of the service/fuel station.
Very pleasant enthused gentleman!
They are well versed/connected with other VAG auto service centers.
Very impressed after talking shop with them.
right on hwy/main drag
Gas station pumps/mechanic services.

When I first got the car I got written up for doing 80 in Gresham, and as the cop hands me the ticket he says "adios amigo"... my license plate was "AUDIOS". Thanks buddy. |
