I decided to rent a board last year instead of transporting my surfboard.

$25 for 24 hr period I believe is what I paid. Lots of options of venders to rent from, but I chose Second Wind and was happy with their selection of boards and service. Basically on the way to all the kiting beaches near the airport. |

I was there two weeks ago. I used Hi Tech Surf sports. $25 for a 24 hour period on Naish Goto surfboard. Plus, it's right next to DaKitchen.... If you are unfamiliar with DaKitchen, lets just say you HAVE to go there after a good long session. Have fun _________________ Cleverly disguised as an adult...

Hey all, I’m heading to Maui shortly. Kiting is on the agenda, but maybe not the main item.

In the past I’ve always taken my pump, but I’ve now got a WMFG. Great, but bulky. If I was going to Kauai, I’d probably take it. But for Maui, I’m inclined not to. Hoping I’ll always be able to borrow someone else’s.

Thoughts? |

I think with a smile and a friendly ask you'll be able to find a pump. Bring cold beer and share

Have fun! |

Smile? Friendly?! That’s asking a lot. But beer, yeah, I’ll definitely have that. And I’m willing to share.

Ok, I’ll try to smile.

Righty, the pump stays home. Thanks! |

				Hi,

2nd Wind Rents Duotone Boards, and some foils and kites.

https://secondwindmaui.com/

Aqua Sports Rents right at the beach,

https://mauikiteboardinglessons.com/

2nd Wind in super close and they are easy to deal with if you want high end gear.

Aqua Sports Rents right out of the truck if they have it available, but I'd call to ensure that you get what you need. _________________ Side on shore and so much more. |

I had a good experience renting from 2nd wind too. They are really nice about letting you swap out boards mid-rental too, in the event you wanna try different stuff...

(PS: any of you who are musically inclined will appreciate the selection of fine ukuleles at the music shop a few doors down. I've never seen so much primo grade koa...) |
