Hi NWkiter’s,
I’m going to be in Maui, Waiehu for summer. I’ll be teaching Kite and taking some classes on line. While I’m there I’m wondering if anyone might need me to help pick up boards from post office?
My idea is that if you ship your stuff over and avoid high cost of airplane board fees, damage etc.
Just checking the waters here. I have the ability to receive your gear, boards, foils and kites and bars only. I can store them for a short time until you get here.
Then after you are done with your gear I can ship it back to you.
So, if you think this would be of interest to you let me know. Of course I’ll have to charge but I think it would work.
You come to Maui and you pay $100 for one board or Foil it adds up. You ship it to me I store it in original box in a nice secure garage.
You call me I meet you at the beach with your gear. You finish you vacation you pack it, , or I do for a small fee, and ship it back to ya!
Just putting feelers out there and yes I would be above board with tax and insurance for your gear. I will have my lawyer draw up the correct papers.
Thanks,

It's cheaper to ship it and it's less hassle. You don't have to carry it, you don't have to stick it in your rental. It's a great deal. _________________ Side on shore and so much more. |

I fly Alaskan and it's $50 for a surfboard, 3 kites, bar, and a pump.
How much to ship one way from Hood River including your fees ? |

My bag is 6' long. It fits 3 kites and a surfboard (5'8"). I load it up to 49 pounds.
Alaska charges are never the same - sometimes free, sometimes 25 or 75.
It averages out to $50. |

no way you are shipping to maui for less than that.
I ship a box from Colorado to Hood River ground, 55 lbs it is $65 UPS. I tried to ship my board to Hood, it was $105, because of the total mass, length x width height. |

Booked my flights to Maui specifically because of their luggage policy. Should be 50 bucks for 2 pieces of luggage for me. Including my surfboard. Any other airline from the states you would def get hosed. Go alaska. |

So, do you mind me asking what size boards? How long etc. foil etc.. Also, let us know if there are any other charges?
Thanks,
